Tokyo quartet The Insect Kids play the sort of sun-spotted ’60s rock where having a chorus of nothing but “la la las” isn’t detrimental. It’s great, simple no-guilt pop. Here’s “City Lights,” which features a sweet breezy flute running through most of the track.
The Insect Kids have a new album out this Friday though I have no idea how to get a copy. If you got any clues, let me know, I want to hear more by these kids.
