So in Japan there is a children’s TV show on NHK about chairs who talk and do people stuff. It’s cute, pretty fun and also a surprisingly solid way of learning enough Japanese to talk to a toddler. It’s great, and they recently did a Perfume homage so they gained even more points in my book. Watch “Fruits Basket” above, and dig the airy electronics, cutesy singing and bleep-bloop breakdown. Plus, you can learn some Japanese words for various fruits.
Also, “Fruits Basket” is way better than that new Perfume song that’s just a boring AKB48 rip-off. Waiting for the cover!
